Gethen Protocol by Gethen Intelligence

A suite of local-AI tools

AI tools that do their thinking on your device — so what you read, track, or research never leaves it.

Gethen Protocol is a growing collection of tools, each powered by AI that runs locally — nothing you open, watch, or buy is uploaded to a server to get an answer. They ship as browser extensions today, with the same on-device engine coming to Shopify apps and other platforms next. One Gethen Intelligence account runs them all.

The catalog

One Gethen Intelligence account, every tool. They're browser extensions today, with more platforms on the way — install the ones your workflow needs.

What Gethen Protocol keeps out of the cloud

Some of these tools handle information you genuinely can't afford to leak. Here's what a cloud-AI equivalent would expose instead — and why that's not a hypothetical for the people who use them.

Extension The cloud-AI norm Gethen Protocol, on-device
Aissociate A screenshot into a general-purpose chatbot, or a cloud "research assistant," puts confidential deal material in front of a third-party server — cap tables, LOIs, financial models, and diligence documents you’re bound by NDA to protect. 🔒 Nothing leaves your browser
PrivIQ A typical cloud-based secret scanner sends your clipboard, screenshots, or typed text to a server to run detection — exposing the very API keys, tokens, and credentials it’s supposed to catch. 🔒 Nothing leaves your browser
ContextIQ A typical cloud reading assistant sends the full text of whatever you’re viewing — a signed contract, an internal memo, a board deck — to a third-party LLM API just to summarize it. 🔒 Nothing leaves your browser

The one exception, every row: your account email and subscription status, needed to run billing and support — never page content, screenshots, or research. CartIQ and Culinairy are on-device too, but their case for it is speed and independence from ad-driven data brokers, not confidentiality this high-stakes — see their own pages for that story.

Field notes

What "on-device" actually means for the way these extensions protect you.

A

Always watching, never uploading

A tool that only checks when you remember to click it isn't really protecting you. Every Gethen Protocol tool runs its analysis continuously, in real time, as you work — catching what a one-off scan would miss.

B

Private by construction

The page you're reading, the prices you're watching, the research you're doing — none of it leaves your device to get an answer. Only account and subscription state ever reach our servers.

C

One account, five instruments

Every tool shares one Gethen Intelligence sign-in and one billing relationship. Each is built for a single workflow — install what's useful, skip what isn't.

Frequently asked

The short answers. Anything else, use the form below.

What does "on-device" actually mean?

Every Gethen Protocol tool runs its models and logic locally, on your own device. The page content, documents, screenshots, or other data it analyzes is never uploaded to a server as part of that analysis — only account and subscription state ever reach our servers.

Do the tools share one account?

Yes. Every tool in the catalog shares one Gethen Intelligence sign-in and one billing relationship, so installing a second or third one doesn't mean creating another account.

Which platforms do the tools run on?

All five in the catalog above are coming soon — as Chrome extensions to start, with the same on-device engine heading to other platforms, like Shopify apps, next. Check back on this page for availability, or use the contact form to ask about a specific one.

Are the tools free?

Each one has a free tier. Paid Pro or Plus tiers raise usage limits or unlock additional capability — see the pricing on each extension's card above for specifics.

Is my data ever sent to a server?

Only account and subscription state — never the page content, documents, prices, or research a tool analyzes for you. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

How do I report a problem or ask a question?

Use the contact form below, or the one linked in any tool's Settings screen. It's the channel we monitor for support, billing, and general questions.

Questions, feedback, or press — this goes straight to the team.

A note on accuracy: Gethen Protocol tools run their AI reasoning on-device — nothing is sent to a server to get an answer. On-device AI is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or even correct — summaries, deal judgments, extracted information, substitution suggestions, memos, and detections can be wrong, incomplete, or missed entirely. Treat every AI-generated result as a starting point, not a final answer, and verify anything sensitive, financial, medical, legal, or otherwise high-stakes yourself before acting on it.
